Introducing Gia:
Gia Martinez has lived most of her life in California. Gia had aspirations of becoming a Law Enforcement Officer while living in the East Bay. Gia became a citizen of the United States of America in her mid 20’s primarily to become a police officer for the city of El Cerrito. After working a few years in the Richmond Police Department and El Cerrito Police Department, she moved to Sonoma County and took a job with the County of Sonoma Sheriff‘s Office in Corrections. She retired from Sonoma County in 2004.
In the year 2008 Gia obtained a Bail Bonds and Notary Public License. She recently opened her own office and has been doing business for herself since December of 2009.
Gia is bilingual in Spanish. She has served as a translator for RPD, Sonoma County and for the community for several years.
Gia is a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Leadership Forum - Class of 2010 and participates in Latino Leadership Luncheons.
She is also on the Board of Directors of Sonoma Community and participates quite frequently in a hispanic group called Negocios Unidos.
